Ms. Essig teaches fifth and sixth grade at Broomfield Academy. She holds a BA in History and Archaeology from the University of Northern Colorado and an MA in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Colorado at Denver. Ms. Essig has taught various subjects to children in kindergarten through eighth grade for over five years. In her teaching experiences at both the elementary and middle school levels, she also coordinated the building Gifted and Talented programs. She is also a certified massage therapist and is currently teaching adults physiology at the massage school where she received her training. Mrs. Essig enjoys teaching and studying a wide range of topics, reading and playing soccer.
